Using the software
These terms apply to the MemeTag website and browser extension. Read them together with the Privacy notice before installing or using the product.
MemeTag provides software for interacting with supported blockchain markets. You choose the assets and actions. Use the software only where you are legally permitted to do so and have authority over the wallet and assets involved.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use MemeTag. You can stop using the software at any time.
Your wallet and backup
You are responsible for your password, recovery information, device security, and the actions authorized through your wallet. MemeTag’s local wallet design does not provide a password reset, custodial recovery, or reversal service.
Back up your recovery phrase or private keys before depositing. Confirm the network and complete destination address before transferring. Removing the extension without a usable backup can prevent access to the wallet.
Authorizing transactions
For reviewed orders, inspect the contract, network, amount, quote, minimum output, approvals, and costs before confirming. Enabling quick buy authorizes preset orders for the exact contracts you approve, subject to its configured limits, without a separate confirmation for each order.
Transactions can be delayed, fail, revert, or execute at a different price within the permitted bounds. Once submitted, a transaction may still confirm even if a panel closes or a network request times out. Confirmed transactions generally cannot be reversed by the interface.
Check Activity and the network explorer before repeating an order whose outcome is unclear.
Market information and risk
Token names, images, prices, liquidity, route availability, and other market information come from external sources and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed. A displayed token or route is not a recommendation, endorsement, or verification.
Digital assets can lose all of their value. Liquidity, token restrictions, smart-contract behavior, malicious issuers, and network conditions can prevent a sale or cause losses. Quotes and simulations cannot establish a token’s safety or guarantee execution.
The website, docs, and Whitepaper describe the software. They do not provide personal investment, tax, or legal advice or promise a return.
Fees and network costs
MemeTag adds no platform fee in extension version 1.4.7. Route and pool fees, network fees, token approvals, and account-creation costs may still apply. The applicable route and network determine these costs.
Failed transactions can incur network fees, and separate approvals may cost gas even if a later swap does not complete. Review the order details and Networks & fees before confirming.
Acceptable use
Do not use MemeTag to steal assets or credentials, deceive users, distribute malicious software, impersonate another person, or interfere with services and other users. Do not misuse a wallet you do not own or have authority to operate.
You remain responsible for obligations that apply to your own use, including applicable law, tax reporting, and third-party service terms. Do not attempt to evade a provider’s access restrictions through MemeTag.
Third parties and availability
MemeTag is independent software and is not affiliated with X or Robinhood. Blockchain networks, market-data providers, RPC services, routing protocols, and token issuers operate independently.
Those services can impose their own terms, fees, restrictions, and availability limits. MemeTag cannot guarantee access, liquidity, uptime, confirmation times, or provider responses. Changes to X or network integrations may require an extension update.
Source downloads include third-party packages and assets. Their respective license terms continue to apply.
Software limitations
The software is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or suitable for every intended use. Version 1.4.7 has not undergone an independent security audit.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right, remedy, responsibility, or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded. Technical checks described in the docs are specific safeguards, not insurance or a promise to reimburse losses.
Changes and stopping use
Features, supported routes, and these terms may change with later releases. The update date appears above. Review the current documentation and package details when installing an update; this release uses manual updates.
You can stop using MemeTag, export your recovery information, and remove local wallet data using the steps in Your wallet. Stopping use does not cancel a transaction already submitted to a network.
