Your first trade

01Choose the exact token

MemeTag detects cashtags such as $FWOG and full contract addresses in rendered X posts. Click the adjacent Buy button to open the panel. Drag its header to reposition it; the panel scrolls within the available screen height.

Select Review to open the MemeTag confirmation window directly. Check the amount, minimum received, network and contract there before the final confirmation. Several tokens can share a ticker. Choose the intended contract and network, and compare the full contract address with a source you trust. A token image, name, or liquidity figure is not an endorsement.

Your selection is remembered for that ticker on that network. Use the back arrow beside the token to change it. You can also search for an exact contract from the wallet.

When your wallet is unlocked or connected, an exact contract or a remembered cashtag can show its local Owned balance beside the post. Select Owned · Sell to open Sell for that exact network and contract. Frozen balances are included in the visible total but are not spendable. If a mint has several accounts, MemeTag combines them for the Owned total and uses the largest spendable account for one sale.

02Set up the order

For a buy, enter the native currency amount: SOL on Solana or ETH on Robinhood Chain. For a sell, choose a percentage of the available token balance.

On Solana, percentage sells use the largest unfrozen token account for that mint. Tokens in other accounts may not be included in the selected amount.

Choose your slippage setting before requesting a quote. A larger tolerance permits a larger difference between the quoted and executed price; it does not create liquidity or guarantee execution.

03Review and confirm

1. Check the token, network, input amount, and selected route.
2. Review the minimum received, route fees, and network fee reserve.
3. Confirm in the MemeTag approval window. Reviewed orders are signed in the extension, not by a post on X.
4. Wait for confirmation and open the explorer link if you want to inspect the transaction.

04Approvals and transaction status

Selling an ERC-20 token can require approvals before the swap. New approvals are limited to the order amount. If the approvals outlast the quote, refresh and review the trade again.

A submitted transaction can remain pending while the network processes it. Check Activity before retrying an order. Closing the panel does not cancel a transaction already submitted to the network.

If you want to submit a preset buy without reviewing each order, configure Quick buy separately.

If the connection ends before a result arrives, use Check status or View transaction. Copy transaction ID copies the public identifier for a support report. The loading animation stops after 45 seconds; that alone does not mean the transaction failed. A request stopped on your device before transmission is shown as Transaction not sent.
