01Connect an existing Solana wallet

Choose Connect existing wallet in the extension. On the MemeTag connection page, select Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack and approve the connection message. No recovery phrase or private key is imported.

Each trade opens a request in your selected wallet. Check the account, token, amount and minimum received before signing. Keep the MemeTag approval window open until the request is complete. Use Open wallet approval to return to a pending request. If it expires, review a fresh quote before confirming again. Quick buy and direct transfers use the built-in wallet; send funds from your connected wallet’s own app.

Connected wallets currently support Solana. Disconnect in Settings to return to your built-in wallet and Robinhood Chain. Locking, reaching your auto-lock time, or restarting the browser ends the connection. Reading balances does not renew the timer.

02Keep a watchlist

Use the star in a token’s trade panel to save its exact contract. In your wallet, open Watchlist to see saved tokens on the selected network. Select a token to load its current market data, or use its remove button to forget it.

The list holds up to 100 tokens across Solana and Robinhood Chain. It stays in this browser, across wallet connections, and is not synced to an account. Saving a token does not approve quick buy or place an order. Unlock or connect a wallet to manage the list. Removing the local MemeTag wallet or uninstalling the extension clears it.

03Read your positions

The Positions tab tracks confirmed Solana trades recorded since version 1.3.0. It shows remaining average cost, current indicative value, realized PnL and unrealized PnL in SOL.

Recorded cash flow includes network costs and account rent from the successful swap. Imported balances, external trades and untracked transfers can make cost basis incomplete; these positions show Unknown rather than an invented return. Price estimates do not guarantee the proceeds of a sale. Previous releases’ transactions are not backfilled. Use All, Open or Closed to filter positions. Export fills downloads confirmed records for the selected wallet as CSV. Closed positions show realized returns when their recorded cost basis is complete.

PnL card creates a 1200 × 675 PNG on your device when the position has complete recorded cost basis. Wallet addresses and SOL amounts are hidden by default. You can include either before downloading. Realized and unrealized values remain separate; an open-position card also needs a current price. MemeTag does not upload or post the image for you.

04Create or import

Open MemeTag and create a password with at least 10 characters. A new recovery phrase creates separate Solana and Robinhood Chain accounts. The password encrypts the wallet on this device.

To import, choose I already have a wallet. MemeTag accepts an English recovery phrase, a Solana private key, or a 0x EVM private key.

Recovery phrases use m/44′/501′/0′/0′ for Solana and m/44′/60′/0′/0/0 for Robinhood Chain. If another wallet uses a different account path, import the relevant private key instead.

05Back up your keys

Save the recovery phrase or private keys somewhere private, outside this browser. Complete the backup confirmation before using the wallet.

Your password unlocks the local installation. Your recovery information restores access to the funds. MemeTag has no password reset or recovery service.

To view your backup again, open Settings → Recovery information and enter your password. Never enter that information into a website, X post, or support conversation.

06Deposit funds

1. Select Solana or Robinhood Chain in the wallet.
2. Open Deposit to see the address and QR code.
3. In the sending wallet, choose that same network and verify the complete address.
4. Send SOL on Solana or ETH on Robinhood Chain. Keep some native currency available for network fees.

Tokens on a selected network use that network’s wallet address. Switching the network selector does not bridge or move assets between networks.

07Send and track funds

Open Send, select a native currency or token balance, and enter the recipient and amount. Review the full address, asset, and network before entering your password to confirm.

Activity shows submitted, confirmed, failed, and expired transactions, with a link to the network explorer. A transaction being submitted is not the same as being confirmed.

Save source X posts is off by default. If you enable it in Settings, a trade started from an X post stores only that post’s canonical URL with local Activity. MemeTag does not save the post text or browsing history. The separate source link and Activity CSV include the URL when one was stored.

Confirmed blockchain transfers cannot be undone from MemeTag.

08Lock or remove the wallet

Use the lock button when you finish trading. Auto-lock is available at 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Unlocking or trading renews its timer; viewing balances does not.

To clear this installation, open Settings → Remove wallet from this device, enter your password, and type REMOVE. This deletes the local wallet, settings, token selections, and activity. It does not delete assets or transaction records from a blockchain.
