Start with the symptom. Check the order state before trying again.
The token is missing or wrong
Search using the exact contract address and select the correct network. Multiple tokens can share a ticker. Use the panel’s back arrow to choose another match instead of relying on a previously saved one.
A new or unindexed token may not appear in market search. A visible market can also lack an executable route. Do not assume a different contract with the same symbol is the intended token.
The Solana RPC returns 403
Update to version 1.4.7 or later to replace the old default Solana RPC with Vibe Station automatically. If you already use a custom endpoint, it stays unchanged. To change it, enter an available HTTPS mainnet URL in extension Settings, grant access to that host, then choose Save settings. MemeTag verifies Solana mainnet when the URL changes. If a custom URL was entered incorrectly, Use default RPC restores the shared public endpoint, but does not remove its access limits.
To update a manual installation, replace the files in the same MemeTag folder, reload the extension from your browser’s extensions page, and reload X. Keep the extension installed to preserve your local wallet. Public endpoints can still be rate-limited.
A quote fails or expires
Check the native currency balance and leave room for fees and account creation. Refresh an expired quote and review the new amount and minimum output.
If the network provider is rate-limited, wait before retrying or configure a compatible HTTPS mainnet RPC. Unsupported pools or token behavior can be rejected even when the balance is sufficient.
A transaction is still pending
Open Activity and the transaction’s explorer link. A submitted transaction may still confirm after the panel closes or a request times out.
For an ERC-20 sell, check whether the pending transaction is an approval or the swap. The panel shows each stage and links to the approval transaction. An approval alone does not sell the token. If approval is not confirmed within 45 seconds, check Activity before starting again. If approvals finish after the quote expires, request a new quote. Avoid placing a duplicate order while the first transaction’s outcome is unclear.
Quick buy is unavailable
Unlock the wallet, confirm the backup, and check that One-click buying is enabled. Verify that the exact contract is approved and that the selected network has allowance remaining.
Failed attempts still reserve their amount against the daily allowance. Limits reset at midnight UTC. You can use the normal trade panel to review an order instead.
The wallet will not unlock
Check the password you created for this browser installation. MemeTag cannot reset it. If you still have your recovery information, it can restore the wallet in a compatible wallet using the matching network and account path.
An address will not copy
Keep the wallet or trade panel open and try the copy button again. MemeTag retries through the browser’s user-initiated document copy path when the modern clipboard API is unavailable.
If the browser still blocks copying, the full wallet address remains visible on Deposit and the full token contract remains visible under the selected token. Select it manually and verify every character before sending funds or trading.
The download will not open
Use the download button on the installation page. If the browser does not save it automatically, use the Save ZIP link that appears after the package is ready.
If the download reports a sign-in page or a changed package, sign in to the site if prompted, reload the installation page, and retry. Extract the ZIP before choosing Load unpacked.
